Toby Tabor, President
Since opening the FCI Vancouver operation 5 years ago, Toby has built his business on the strength of his 14 years of experience in the construction and service industry. His broad base of knowledge includes specialties in estimating, business and job-site management, and customer service.

A graduate of Washington State University, Toby continues to hone his management skills by participating in professional development courses such as the FCI Certified Leadership Development Program.

As Toby leads his professional team, his goal is to provide each of our customers with the highest level of customer service. From the shopping experience to final installation, Toby wants our customers to reflect on their new flooring as a positive rewarding experience.

Away from the office, Toby spends time with his wife Amy and their two children. He enjoys golf, hunting and coaching football.

 

Monica Nichols, Senior Design Consultant
Since earning her degree in interior design in 1996, Monica has worked in the Longview/Kelso area for over 13 years, specializing in residential and commercial design.  Be it a remodel or new construction, Monica has managed projects of all sizes, from the drafting stage to installation.  Combining her customer’s desires with her expert design training and keen eye for color she produces award winning results.  Along with countless residential projects, her commercial works can be seen in the Salmon Creek Plastic Surgery and Spa, the Windermere Real Estate building in Kelso, and the Wilcox and Flegel building in Longview, to name a few.  

Monica takes pride in listening to her clients wants and needs for their space and creating environments that exceed their expectations.  Regardless of the size and scope of the design, her goal is to provide a finished product that is both personalized and unique.

Monica is also passionate about her family and loves spending time at home with her husband and their two beautiful daughters.  She enjoys furniture refinishing, gardening, shopping and travel.

  

Derek Turley, Project Manager

Our Project Coordinator, Derek Turley, is an experienced and motivated new addition to the FCI team. He has a background in all phases of construction, having worked in the industry since he was 14 years old. Ten of those years were spent specializing in floor covering installation, as well as, managing teams of installers. He is committed to taking the knowledge acquired to coordinate jobs and provide a smooth, enjoyable service to all of our clients. Derek’s number one goal is to make sure he and his team have exceeded expectations and the customer is completely satisfied.

Derek’s motivation and integrity can be seen in all aspects of his life. He is also a  devoted father to two children and a dedicated husband to his wife of eleven years. He volunteers in the community, serving regularly at his church, coaching youth sports, and has been involved with local food banks. He enjoys playing a variety of sports, spending time outdoors, and watching a great movie at home.

Amy Tabor, Marketing Manager

Amy is in charge of our customer marketing and keeping in touch with our customer base.  She coordinates events and keeps on top of FCI social aspects:  AKA Keeping the office in line.  

In her spare time she loves to run, enjoy her beautiful family, and scrapbook with friends.
